Who can enter?

Only Australian residents who are aged 18 or over.


Who can't enter?
 
Directors, officers, management and employees (and their immediate families) of:

  1. the Promoter; and
  2. the agencies, companies or participating premises associated with this competition.


Competition Period
 
12.01am (AEST) on 21/08/2023 to 11.59pm (AEST) on 31/10/2023.


Where will the competition run?
 
The promotion will run in participating Bottlemart, Bottlemart Express, Sip'n Save, Harry Brown, and Thirsty Camel (WA only) which are stocking specially marked products (Outlets) in Australia. The Outlets include the online stores at www.bottlemart.com.au, www.sipnsave.com.au, wa.thirstycamel.com.au and www.harrybrown.com.au.

You can submit claim via any Website regardless of which Outlet you made your purchase.


Qualifying Purchase

A specially marked carton of any of the following Great Northern Brewing Company beer (subject to stocks remaining):

  • Great Northern Super Crisp - 24pk bottles and 30pk cans.
  • Great Northern Original – 24pk bottles and 30pk cans


Claim instructions
 

  1. make a Qualifying Purchase from an Outlet or Outlets;
  2. locate the unique code inside the Qualifying Purchase product/s; and
  3. during the Promotional Period, visit a Website to locate the claim page and create an account (you only have to create an account once) or confirm your log in details and fill out and submit the online claim form, including by providing the required number of unique code/s to claim a gift (see table below), paying (if applicable) the required postage and handling fee as indicated, and providing all other requested information.

Once you have completed the above steps, you can choose to redeem 1 unique code for a gift, or you can purchase additional specially marked cartons and save your additional unique code/s to your account to claim at a later date (but during the Promotion Period).

You can choose to claim a gift once you have 1 unique code, or purchase additional specially marked cartons and save the additional unique codes (up to 6 unique codes) to claim a higher valued gift, as follows:

All unique codes must be used to redeem gift/s by 11.59pm (AEDT) on 31/10/2023. If you have any unique codes in your account at the end of the Promotion Period that you haven’t used to claim a gift, those codes will be are forfeited.Each carton will include 1 unique code. A unique code can only be used once. You can claim a maximum of 6 unique codes in a single gift claim transaction. The Promoter is not responsible if your mobile device/desktop is not sufficiently capable for the purpose of submitting a claim.

You can only claim one of each gift type (excluding the e-Vouchers which you can claim a maximum of 5 of in total) during the Promotion Period.

All gifts (excluding e-Vouchers) are subject to postage and handling fees being paid by the successful claimant as specified at the time of selecting a gift. All gifts (excluding e-Vouchers) will be delivered via post to the your nominated Australian residential address within 90 days. PO boxes will not be accepted.

Great Northern Merch Store discount e-Vouchers will be delivered to a successful claimant by email and can be used online at www.greatnorthern.com.au/merch/all The e-Vouchers are single use only and any unused funds will be lost. e-Vouchers must be redeemed in a single transaction on or before 28/02/2024 and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer/promotion. There is no minimum spend to use the e-Voucher. The e-Vouchers are not stackable (which means only one e-Voucher can be used per transaction), and are not redeemable for freight/shipping/delivery costs. The e-Voucher code must be applied at check out


Proof of purchase
You must keep the following as proof of purchase for all claims:

  • unique code/s

If you don't produce the above proof of purchase for all claims when asked the Promoter may disqualify all of your claims and you will lose any right to a gift.

Proof of purchase must be identical to that provided by you with your claim.

If, in the Promoter's opinion, you have shared any proof of purchase with another person, your claims will be invalid and you will lose any right to a gift.


Collection and use of your personal information
If you are a successful claimant, you must take part in all publicity, photography and otherpromotional activity as the Promoter requires, without any compensation. You consent to the Promoter using your name and image in any promotional or advertising activity. The Promoter may collect your personal information directly or through Liquor Marketing Group (LMG), or the Promoter's agents or contractors. The Promoter and LMG will use your personal information to conduct and manage the promotion. The Promoter may disclose your personal information to LMG, the Promoter's related companies, agents and contractors to assist in conducting this promotion, communicating with you or storing data. This may include disclosures to organisations outside Australia including in places such as the Philippines, New Zealand, the UK and the Netherlands.

By claiming, you consent to the Promoter/LMG keeping your personal information on its database to use for future marketing purposes, including contacting you by electronic messaging. By entering, you consent to receive email or SMS messages from the Promoter without any functional unsubscribe facility if they relate primarily to the conduct of this promotion.

The Promoter’s Privacy Policy (see www.asahi.com.au/privacy) includes information about:

  1. how to seek access to the personal information the Promoter holds about you and seek correction of the information; and
  2. how to complain about a privacy breach and how the Promoter will deal with such a complaint.

Entrants' personal information will be collected by LMG. Personal information will be stored on LMG's database. LMG is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and their respective privacy policy which is located at www.lmg.com.au/privacy-policy. LMG's privacy policy contains information about how the entrant may access, update and seek correction of the personal information LMG holds about them and how the entrant may complain about any potentialbreach by LMG of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other Australian privacy laws and how such complaints will be dealt with. Personal information collected from entrants will not be disclosed to any entity located outside of Australia.

Where relevant, your participation in this promotion may be subject to the liquor serving policy of businesses conducting the promotion and/or providing the gift.

All advertising material for this promotion will include a message regarding responsible consumption of alcohol.

Claims

  1. Your claim must be received during the Promotion Period and will be deemed to be received only whenreceived by the Promoter. Unique codes from any other promotion cannot be used for this promotion,and are void if copied, forged, stolen or interfered with. If you return a Qualifying Purchase your claimmay be deemed invalid at the Promoter's discretion (unless the product is defective). You will receive areturn message confirming your claim. The Promoter is not liable for any problems withcommunications networks. You are responsible for your own costs associated with claiming. If youclaim using automatically generated claims or multiple phone numbers/emailaddresses/addresses/aliases, you may be disqualified.

Gifts

  1. Gifts must be taken as specified, as and when offered and cannot be altered or changed in any way byyou or will be forfeited, and if forfeited, the Promoter will not be liable. If you forfeit the gift for whateverreason, you will not be given cash or any alternative gift as a substitute. Gift/s are subject to anyadditional terms and conditions imposed by the relevant supplier(s) or the Promoter, including, asrelevant validity period/s.
  2. You are responsible for all other unspecified costs related to the gift, etc.
  3. The Promoter is not responsible for any dispute between you and any person with whom you chooseto, or choose not to, share the gift.

General

  1. Any failure by you to comply with the conditions imposed by the prize supplier(s) may result in the prize being cancelled or withdrawn without liability for the Promoter or the prize supplier(s).
  2. If you or your entry are deemed by the Promoter to breach these Terms and Conditions your entry (or at the Promoter's discretion, all of your entries) may be discarded. The Promoter may, at any time, require you to produce documentation to establish to the Promoter's satisfaction the validity of your entries (including documentation establishing your identity, age, place of residence and place of employment). Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights.
  3. You must not:

    1. tamper with the entry process (including but not limited to manipulating the system via bots, script use, or any other means to circumvent the entry process);
    2. engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition;
    3. act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner;
    4. do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition;
    5. breach any law; or
    6. behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate.
  4. If you, in the opinion of the Promoter, behave aggressively or offensively, or behave in a manner whichmay diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or the agenciesor companies associated with this promotion, is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate, thePromoter may cancel the gift or restrict you from participating in the promotion, at its discretion.

  5. The Promoter is not liable for gift claims or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, delayed,lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted.

  6. If any dispute arises between you and the Promoter concerning the conduct of this promotion orclaiming a gift, the Promoter will take reasonable steps to consider your point of view, taking intoaccount any facts or evidence you put forward, and to respond to it fairly within a reasonable time. Inall other respects, the Promoter’s decision in connection with all aspects of this promotion is final.
  7. Gifts cannot be transferred or exchanged nor redeemed for cash. Without limiting any other term ofthese Terms and Conditions, all gifts must be taken as and when specified, or will be forfeited with noreplacement. The gift values are correct as at the date of preparing these Terms and Conditions andinclude any applicable GST. The Promoter is not responsible for any change in gift value. You agreethat if a gift (or element of a gift) is unavailable for any reason the Promoter may provide another itemof equal or higher value, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
  8. If this promotion cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter's control, for example dueto software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud ortechnical failure, government directives, a pandemic, public health orders and the like, the Promotermay end, change, suspend or cancel the promotion or disqualify affected claims/claimants, subject toany necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
  9. The Promoter is not responsible for any tax implications arising from you receiving a gift. You shouldseek independent financial advice. If for GST purposes this promotion results in any supply beingmade for non-monetary consideration, you must follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view thatwhere the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusivemarket values.

Liability

  1. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under any statute including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
  2. Subject to the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable (including in negligence) for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury (including allergies, skin conditions or other reactions, as relevant), illness or death suffered in connection with this competition or any prize, except for any liability which under statute cannot be excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law).
  3. Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable for any loss of, damage to or delay in delivery of prize/s, or for any damage that occurs to displayed prize/s (where relevant). Unless otherwise specified, prize/s will only be delivered to addresses in Australia.
  4. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any social media platform, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You provide your information to the Promoter and not to any social media platform. You completely release any relevant social media platforms from any and all liability.
